How do I register my event as part of the festival?

 

Here is your step-by-step guide to registering your Museums at Night events in Culture24’s database. (Don’t forget that unless you register your event with us, it won’t be included in our festival marketing and PR!)

How much does it cost to register an event?

Nothing! It’s free to register an event on the Culture24 DDE (Direct Data Entry) system and be part of the festival

Who can take part?

 

Culture24 warmly welcomes all UK arts and heritage organisations to get involved with the Museums at Night festival. Anyone can take part: your museum, gallery, library, archive or heritage site just needs to be listed on Culture24’s database of 6000+ UK cultural organisations.

How does Culture24 support your Museums at Night event?

We often form partnerships with external organisations such as the Reading Agency to offer joint opportunities, such as the chance to host an author talk as part of your Museums at Night event.

Is there a deadline I need to register my event by?

Although you can register your Museums at Night events in our database right up until the festival in May, if you leave it that late you’ll miss out on a lot of marketing and publicity. The three deadlines are:

Friday 13 February: your event listing will be included in all of our PR pushes, including the press releases we send out to long lead magazines.

Friday 20 March: your event listing will be included in our March outreach.

Friday 24 April: This is the final deadline for your event listing to be included in our press releases.
