2017 heralds the ninth year of the Museums at Night May festival, and the third year for the October celebrations. Brighton-based arts-charity Culture24 devise and produce Museums at Night, and each year we fundraise to ensure we can support as many venues as possible to put on ever more inventive events to reach new audiences.
This year our in-house team, Nick Stockman and Rosie Clarke, will take responsibility for supporting participating venues’ PR efforts with limited support from Bullet PR who will be writing and sending the major May festival press releases. Nick and Rosie will be the first point of contact for all venues and media regarding PR.
What you need to know
We will write three press releases in the lead-up to the May festival, and you must register your event listings in our database by the stated deadlines for the chance to be included.
We will maintain our media image library, but unfortunately do not have the capacity to phone you to chase your publicity photos. This means that if you would like your high-res image to be included in our image library for the press to use, you must email it to firstname.lastname@example.org yourself.
All media enquiries will be fielded from the Culture24 office. Where the enquiry is directed at an individual venue or organisation, we will forward it to the main contact we have there.

Our plans for the future
We will continue applying for funding, approaching potential festival sponsors and exploring new ways of making a twice-yearly celebration of museums and galleries a viable and sustainable proposition for years to come.
